Crawl Space Drainage Systems
in North & South Carolina
Water is a stubborn houseguest. Once it gets into your crawl space, it settles in, puts its feet up, and refuses to leave. And in the Carolinas, rain and damp soil makes it easy for water to sneak in and stay awhile. Without proper drainage, that lingering moisture raises humidity, invites mold, and weakens your home’s structure. Moisture Loc’s drainage systems move water out and keep it out.
- Reduces standing water and humidity
- Prevents mold growth and wood rot
- Improves air quality upstairs
Give water an easy way out.

Why Crawl Space
Drainage Matters
Around here, it’s really hard to keep water outside. Any crack or crevice can be an entryway into your home, and with the amount of rain and humidity we get in the Carolinas, there’s usually plenty of moisture to go around. Drainage is an essential component of any solution, and our teams have plenty of experience coming up with the right plan for your home – nothing cookie-cutter here. As quickly and easily as water gets in, you need a system that moves it out and away from your home just as fast.

Drainage Options

Crawl Space
French Drain
Our technicians dig a trench around the perimeter of your crawl space and place a pipe around the earthwork. Next, we cover the piping with stone. Typically, we connect the trench to a sump pump, which stores the water and pumps it safely away from the house.

Crawl Space Low Point Drain & Discharge
A low-point drain features pipe installation at the lowest point of your crawl space. This drain usually slopes underground towards the street, allowing water to flow out of the crawl space.

Exterior French
Drain System
Our team installs exterior French drains along the outside wall of your crawl space and direct water away from your home and foundation. When it rains, water flows into a pipe and moves to a lower level – such as a ditch, well, or street.
Why Choose Moisture Loc

Family owned and run since 1988
Moisture Loc has served homeowners and builders here for nearly 40 years. When you work in the same community that long, you get to know it from the ground up. That’s why there isn’t a crawl space or basement issue we can’t solve.
We do it right, or not at all.

You can breathe easier.
When 40% of the air you breathe at home comes from your crawl space, you want to know it’s clean. Our encapsulation and waterproofing solutions keep humidity, mold, and wood rot out and a sense of security in – for good.
This means more to us.
